Giving Back to the Community
We feel it is important to look beyond our world of horses and riding, and be a contributing part of the world around us. As a team, we have the fortune of being able to act as a group and contribute to local charities and important community events.
AIDS Walk 2001
June 3, 2001, our team participated in the Orange County Walk against AIDS. We raised over $2,500 for the walk!
Walktoberfest 1997
In October of 1997 we participated in the "Walktoberfest" for
the American Diabetes Association. We walked for team
mate Lisa Lange who is diabetic. Members of our team raised
almost $600, and walked 6 miles. In 1998 we intend to do at least
two such walks, or participate in two community activities.
Fran Joswick 1996
In 1996 the Team participated in the Fran Joswick Annual Horse Show
fund raiser in San Juan California.
