We have an exciting year planned at BTS! In addition to our regular lesson program, we’ll be offering a variety of beginner and intermediate clinics, in-house shows, play days and spring, summer and winter camps. We’ll keep you updated on future happenings via email and the new website. Here’s what’s new for February and March:
Thursday Lessons
Do you miss Thursday lessons? Well, so do we! Starting February 1st, Thursday lessons are back on the schedule – 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30. Contact Ruthanna if you’re interested in a spot.
Grooming and Tacking Clinic
Saturday, February 24th, 9:30-11:30am
Are you able to get your horse ready for your lesson all by yourself? Do you know what all the brushes are for and what all the different tack is about? If no, this clinic is for you! You’ll learn about haltering, leading, grooming and tacking and, by the end, you’ll be able to get your horse ready for your lesson. Recommended for all new riders and anyone who can’t groom and tack by themselves. If you can’t make this one, we’ll be offering this clinic again every other month. Cost $25. Lungeing Clinic
Saturday, March 3rd, 9:30-11:30am
Hands on lesson in why and how we lunge horses. Learn different lungeing techniques and get a chance to try it yourself. This is an invaluable lesson if you own a horse or ride in the lesson program. Cost $25. Contact Meg if you’d like to sign-up.
BTS In-House Show
Sunday, March 25th (times TBD)
Now that we’re settled at Sycamore, we’re bringing our infamous BTS In-House Shows back! This is the first of four this year. It is for BTS riders only and is for all levels – beginner through advanced. More information on costs and classes will follow. So for now, save the date!
Show Clinic
Saturday, March 17th, 9:30-11:30
Never showed? Not to worry, we’ll help you through it. This clinic is required for any rider who has not showed with BTS before, either in-house or away. Learn everything you need to know, do and buy before show day and at the show. We recommend a parent attend as well since much of the show preparation (outfit, hair, etc.) is up to you. Cost $25. Contact Meg to sign-up. This clinic will be offered one week prior to each in-house show.
New BTS Wear!
We’ve added some new items to our BTS Catalogue – visors ($20), fleece blankets ($45), polo shirts ($35), long sleeved polo shirts ($40) and saddle pads ($45). Check out the catalog and order forms online or at the barn or email Meg for details or orders.

Do you have used tack, clothing or accessories hanging around your tack locker or garage that you’d like to sell to a fellow BTS team member? Send Meg an email with a description, price and contact name/number and we’ll post your listing in the Classifieds section of the new website.
