Leasing a Horse

If you buy a horse that can be half leased out, then you (the owner of the horse) will receive the lease amount of $750, however you will receive only 1 lesson per week (the lessor will receive 1 lesson as well) More lessons would need to be purchased separately at $450 for 10 lessons.

How a lease works:

  • Owner Pays all of the costs on the horse, including the $550 full training fee to BRIDGES
  • Lessor pays the owner $750
  • Each gets 3 days; and 1 lesson per week (on their day)
  • Horse gets the 7th day to himself ; )
  • Horse is cared for by BRIDGES, and trainers will keep the horse tuned up, as well as exercise him if either the owner or lessor can't make it on their day.
  • Riders both get the advantages of the BRIDGES programs
  • Riders have access to BRIDGES school horses if their horse is out-of-service
  • Lease is $750 per month, with $750 up front as a 30 day notice security.
  • Lease is month-to-month, with 30 days lease cancellation required or the "deposit" is forfeit.

If you half-lease your horse to Bridges, you will receive $300 for the 3 days per week, and you will receive your full 3 lessons per week. NOTE: There will be some restrictions on the horse's use on both sides since the horse's welfare is paramount.
