The Tales of a Horse

Ruthanna's book, "On Pegasus Wings," sets the stage for the full length novel, "The Tales of a Horse." This three part novel depicts the life of a horse, from start to finish, and his place among his own herd and that in the world of horse and human.
Tales begins with "On Pegasus Wings," the introduction of the herd, from the young curious colt to Lexie, the wise old Lesson horse, to the magnificent Vincent Van Horse. Vincent's life is played out in the second part of Tales, "Vincent Van Horse." The final section of Tales finds the herd in a battle of life and death with a notorious southland firestorm.
The characters of Tales are based on lesson horses and team mates of the BTS Equestrian Team, many of which can still be found gracing the arena on any Saturday morning.
