Show Attire
Riders showing the following shows must have the following equipment/attire:
BTS In-house Shows
No special requirements.
- Neat, breeches (riding pants)
- Nice shirt or BTS Team shirt tucked in,
- Belt if breeches accommodate one,
- Boots (short boots ok),
- Helmet (schooling helmet ok), hair up under helmet, or two braids with ribbons ok for under 12 years old.
Other Shows (at Sycamore and Away)
- Show quality approved helmet that will accommodate rider's hair being UP UNDER the helmet. Under 12 yrs old, Ok to wear two NEAT braids with ribbons, but I prefer it up.
- Hunt Type Jacket (approved fit by Ruthanna), , Black or Hunter Green.
- "Ratcatcher" type riding shirt. Colors ok.
- Breeches or Jodphurs (Garters if children are wearing Jodphurs) for children. Beige, Khaki, or white.
- Tall BLACK boots for over 13 yrs old, Jodphur boots ok for 12-u (with garters).
- Belt, unless pants do not require belt.
- Gloves (black only) Show quality crop (24" maximum).
- Hair UP under helmet, neat and confined. Glue it down if you have to! NO fly-aways!
